THE LETTER IN THE EYES

Reading is my justice, writing my shield
And speaking my defender
So to your letter i have done justice
Read it till saturation in heart and tears
Understanding and knowledge , however limited

Now that you are out of sight
I gather it not right, to defend my love for you
Let you know in enough words, that for you
I lived from the day i met you
And for you my heart weeps tears red in hue

From your letter i have written a poem of two million words
In a few words
I still live a time ran out life, struggle with no expectations
For the noose awaits and rims of justice diamond studded

I think again, flipping the thought in all angle
And realize other than you there is no angel
I zonk, and harder, faster, my heart weeps

All you expected was me there, not wild dreams
You expected trust, not wild rumors
Expected a difference
Though all too human

Don't look at me that way my lovely one
It takes strength off my knees and invigorates
Your Serengeti beauty and that cracks whips
Across a heart festering with wounds
Haunted with your love and full of your whispers

I see your eyes everywhere
The bastard in a pool of blood between us
My hands clotted in blood, i still remember your eyes
As they took me away in cuffs amidst a sea of eyes

Because we had to eat, feed and cloth our own
In a world that appears not our own
Now i am a guest of the state
Living nearly in the same state
Rubbing shoulders with murders
Rapists, pickpockets and traffickers
All cursed, caste then cast by systems

You have not come for a single visit
Twenty years now and now i realize
I would not have come either
If you stabbed a woman for stalking
And laying my heart on money
