Two years longer than Keats a poet still kites
Unseen by many, unheard by many though writing for many
Maybe because at the knees of Orpheus and Mauseus
But steal still he sits smittened
By Hesiods and Homer
The blind who saw and wrote truth home
He who saw the smile of an eagle from the angle
Of Ha-ha-ha! Ha-ha-ha-ha ha-ha! Sharp in pitch
Like its claws, acute in message, like its vision
In communication with its inner oracle
Calling upon fellow Ajaxes
To show them the island shore home grave to Nyakiamo and Yiega
The tigers of an eagle gene tree
Bap! Bap-bap-bap! Bap-bap-bap bap!
The full wing span take-off sound gives an idea of weight,
Napoleonic combat force, Trojan tactics and agility perfected
To out smart, out pace alert senses
That swish fish deep depths of illusioned safety
As Courage and Moderation
From Achilochus beak feeds the eagle's patience fountained will for success
Stoic, the revelations of the sun size eyeballs, in triumph or tribulation,
Both are its duty ordained
Like the allotment of a poet
Kite high but unseen by many, unheard by many though writing for many
Thus for the legacy of his nest, he will continually claw truth
And hurl it at the door steps of hearts of men
To feed on, and drink to, for the truth awaits patiently ahead

US
Like most of us, am in love with money
Like some of us, am in love with women
Like many of us, i however have no women, no money
So like most of us i froth a smile
When few of us slide past us on platinum rims
Feeling more important than most of us
Who see the reflection of most of us on the metallic shine
Dreamt by all of in admission and denial
I wonder why that's what was allocated all of us!
But i know the allotment is received by all of us but taken by few of us
As i stare in the dark void staring back at all of us
Scribbled by none of us in the history of the universe
Like some of us, am in love with women
Like many of us, i however have no women, no money
So like most of us i froth a smile
When few of us slide past us on platinum rims
Feeling more important than most of us

FLEAS' FEED
Galeano's fleas dream of buying themselves a dog
Mine have for decades bought themselves beings
Across latitudes inhabited lassitude
With no verandas but horizons
With no friends but lost family
No money and health but pride and hopelessness
No ceilings, but stars for roofs
The fleas' fountain of blood see hear and breath but speak not
And so they have heard about stars
Bonos and Stallones, Beetles and Hulks of might
Up the cobalt sky their stars shine or how else are they stars?
Eyes switching from the Orion to the Southern Cross fingers in ditches
The fleas feed wonders if he was born before his star
With unflinching, unreserved authority fleas take bites at his back
To tired to move his nerves register multiple paroxysm
But quickly, hunger, thirst, cold and disease palliate the system
The eyes however fail to lie to the pain - wry tear drops
Looking at his roof, he asks.
Which one of you is mine up above?
Are you shinning upon me right now from above?
Might you have died and left me alive?
Or are you yet to arrive?
Or did someone put you off, but to whose approve?

HUNGER SUPPORTED LIFE
Paraded are horns and claws
Jaws and hypodermic fangs
Canines and cats with weight or ability
On a planet where size has never been
A perquisite for stealth deadliness
Under the water, you can't breath
But if breath can take you far
The razor sharp teeth and eyes
Are on the watch with other witches of the sea
Filling the void in all stripes and fur
Up in the sky power flapping
Create falcon speed, eagle eyes and magpie desires
A hundred miles and you are with eye range
Two hundred miles means half the speed range
So run not, find family and star in stirs to survive
Stirs that create the whirl wind of fate
Winds never heard or seen by prey living
Where life lives on hunger like in the world today
Jaws and hypodermic fangs
Canines and cats with weight or ability
On a planet where size has never been
A perquisite for stealth deadliness
Under the water, you can't breath
But if breath can take you far

THE CIVIL AND THE SERVANT
Once upon a time the civil had a servant
The civil got served and the servant got paid
Then the civil got greedy but the servant got generous
The civil got fat and the servant got lean
The civil got lazy but the servant worked hard
The civil got power and the servant got weak
The civil bore aristocrats as the servant bore children
Head down on a pedestrian walk the children today walk
Head in hand thinking about the month
Divided in four weeks to buffer a system
Round which the children can't work but count weeks
At week one the balancing act begins
Frustrated how to survive the following three
Then spend the three anticipating the first's frustrations
Once upon a time, the civil had servant
A lucky servant today a dogsbody
Amidst the unlucky majority who earn per capita income
The civil got served and the servant got paid
Then the civil got greedy but the servant got generous
The civil got fat and the servant got lean
The civil got lazy but the servant worked hard
The civil got power and the servant got weak

BLOATED BLOTTERS
Do you remember when lies were harmless?
When a toddler's eyes nurtured curiosity and agility
Playing in mud with love a society spurred?
Yes! that is when numbers made sense
When percentages touched a hundred tops
When the once cumulative and deductive math of statistics had not mutated
Do you remember when talents were honored?
When leader left legacies that leaned on the league of deities
Before air, water and life became commodified?
Yes! that was when a people had not voting power but rights to humanity
When the science of cost benefits analysis had not mutated
When A met B at the park and consulted the C not the D
Blame them not if they remember not angels but devils
It's been nautical light-years since and angels today only visible by narcotics
Search a toddler's eyes and see what pestilence has done to pure innocence
As numbers live better in trillions, what next!? Lexicons!
The next table show zillionic zeros after six figures
Yes! that is why guns and and crack pop and blotters bloat faster than balloons
