MUCH MUCH LESS
Sits souls eager for reasons
Brains loaded with crap from institutionalized institutions
Barrels loaded with with fire to answer questions
Seeking the root cause of structural sins
An inch away from the edge of norm
Sit utilitarianism in form of a norm
But the barrel of fire awaits any who see the norm
Of endless misunderstanding disguised as democracy
And not the inborn force to out live Darwin's prophecy
An inch away from the edge if bliss
Sits the king of flies
Proud of abundance as the state of affairs
Assure their continuity into the next millennium gene pools
In which wealth and water wars will whither into floods and quakes
An inch away is the ka-boom! on walls
As forts and wells run dry under seismic waves and its discontents
Broods of the future will vanish like ours in this times
Of a cow for desert and a roach for aid and heart felt condolences
Live on less, or leave behind, much much less

PYE
In thick thunderous cloud's or in crystal skies the sun's path's apparent
Seas blue like oceans and jays part of the rhythm of the orb
Housing our worlds, nursing our beliefs cryptic niches
Yelled or smiled at by life, fight to find your niche
One step at a time time the best of empiricism
Understand to be understood - listen to be lent an ear
Bumping side by side at par with your beauty are brains
Each of which blends well with your whisper like voice
Seamless buoyancy of youth and the will to dream
The will to discover, rediscover then conquer
Palatable are pies spotted by eagles not magpies
Yeast baked or unleavened some pies are total poison
Everyday without end, wish you best pick for this reason
TAP!
Them who have not seen the face of innocence
Have not seen the face of a newborn
Them who have never met the big bad wolf
Have never met their mirror image
A creature on two feet with a heart seen through its eyes
A brain heard through the gateway to its inevitable perpetual creditor
Powerful enough to cage its innocence in the abyss of guilt
Camouflaged by the shadows of race and survival
You have heard Ntiru's rhythm of the periodic pestle
Now listen, listen to the persistent sobs of rue
Plastered on walls neither seen in light nor darkness
Like the slithery slough of despond
Holding hostages of the Chiapas or Haitian kind of flock
Synchronized by nightmares to allow sweet dreams
And scripture readings from the moon
The more gathered in molten gold, the more innocence drip in the abyss
Tap... Tap! Tap!!! Tap!!!! Tap!!!!! Tap!!!!!!
G.O.D
He spoke, then left after igniting the O
He rolled down downtown his mind on the D
Gold, Oil Drugs his god
In prayer he left the crowd
Gave them the last words - pray to god
Color and cadre aren't inscriptions on creed
But on guns or diamonds
A consignment arrived last week
Next week he speaks again to the weak
Cracking the whip to drink the weep
Of the them who mine the gold, the oil and do the drugs
So volatile they get but ground low the stay
Dew wet swaying in gale of greed
Keeping on their knees hoping for change
Not in creed but cadre, not in color but greed

THE BROKEN SHOAL
To muster solidarity in their hearts
That are solely and somber
Swaggering spooks who skulk state
Statutes for their commercial astute sake
Slip to mind and make me shiver
Under showers of shame
Swinging them north are we are swung south
Splitting the shoal
POWER PARAMOUR
Paul Biya, our own Moi and Mugabe
Appear like a pear from a peasant's sweeat
Presented as desert
After a Mobutu's beer
Laced with aphrodisiacs to keep them hard and on
On a bed mistresses by power
Giving rise to fathers of a nation who sire misery
LIFE WITH JADE
From the oil sands of Alberta to the ice fields of Colombia
All kisses on her, eyes closed, cheek muscles in-full gear
From Michu Pichu to Babylon’s buoyancy
Touch the sky in a witty style all occasions grace
From the peak of the pyramids to Jamaican sands
Kiss her one more time in merry for she is Mary
My mother says she is not good for me
The doctor says my diaphragm can't protect additional content
The law multiply her fingers by two for a behind bar contract
The day we dinned at the Eiffel tower, she became my statue of liberty
Now am in love with her talk so witty, how do I halt?
We have talked and kissed at the coliseum
She talked about man and I nodded in calm
Told me man is a common miser and for that
Carbon and viruses are likely to carbon date
Man before man contains their ability to carbon date mankind
Kissing her at every step we have strolled china's great wall
This is where she warned me never to look any of all
Predicament on another's lap and laugh thinking am far
For those whose conscience convince they are doing better
Forget of the problems designed for the better
I have been spotted transfixed by her beauty at the Mara
Driving into the ecstatic Serengeti lip to lip
She said worry not about judgment
It is the core meaning of comment
Or should we talk about human heart
The abyss of stealth darkness
A darkness dark enough to silhouette in coal dark darkness
A myth only the wise believe
Oh! Mary how merry your mind makes mine
Open my eyes like the London eye
Tick my fancy like big Ben tock our years
Lean on my shoulder, like the tower of pizza
I will bare the brunt honey and roses raise
Though your other name is Jane, you are my jade
THE BETTER HALF OF LOVE
Explain what air is
And I will explain what love is
Explain why air is unseen
And I will explain why love comes unseen
Explain why life dies without air
And I will explain why love kills
Explain why the swift lives in air
And I will explain why envy resides in hearts
Just like you know what air is
So do I know of love as the greatest gift received in blind fold
Just as know why air is unseen
So do I know why love lives seen yet unseen
I too know no air no life
But I know not how love kills, just know would kill for you
Swifts are fast as my fangs of envy
So touch not my love for am her better half...call me hate
Yes we are married and hearts our palaces
Human heart the dullest of our places
Because they receive me eyes wide open
But receive my better half eyes wide shut
Always oblivious of our Yin Yang hoot
The world is at moot, my partner on her death bed
She now equals water in abundance and scarcity
Check mate! Is love still on board?
THE ABOLISHED WORD OF OUR TIME?
Negative in two subsequent quarters rang the bell
Neighbbourhoods got cloudy and rains heavy
They looked up to him and asked in tears
The sage looked unto them radiant in smile
Gallery of knowledge, age of wisdom
Teach us about never for never confuses
Raveges souls and understanding of the universe
Knowledge worrior, first i said i will never drink
Then thuoght i will never touch and squeeze
Intimate in whispers twitching at the toe
Drugs on the prescription lists meant the life and never
I shouted at the drugs that later dragged me through
Lucifer's door in blood, so tell us sage
Is never the abolished word of time?
For the minute we say never, we knock on a door
