THE COST OF SUN AND SAND

It was the cost at the coasts
Of sun and sand that made me
Eager to feel sun and sand
So under under the sun i toiled , sweat's my witness
And divine teacher of sweetness

Long and lost are the years
For long and frustrating was the toil
That teamed with water and time
To decant the tiny gravels you hold in your hands
As i sit at the coast of sun and sand at a cost

I tried my best but the frustration
I saw in the eyes of the poor
Poked faces similar to phases preened by press
In the battle for truth

Fellow countrymen, I watched
From behind the tints
Wondered what it feels like to be you
For it is no longer frustrating to see you
But freightening to see you
So at a cost borne by you
Cast the vote, for my dreams ideas
Are inspired by what i feel for you

As i sit at the coast of
Sun and sand, i seek ways
To keep my head above the sand and enjoy the sun
Under which i have toiled
And created rivers of tears in a lake of misery
The greatest misery of all - to live by another's wish

Sands of time will liberate you
But sorry for the weighty
Sands and stones upon your lanky shoulders
My intentions were good until i though
Of the cost at the coasts of sun and sand
