When is one wise,
When the folly of youth evapourise,
Or when the regrets of old age engage compromise?
The older i grow
The harder the gales in life blow
Challenges make my experiences raw
Streaming in worries in a long row
Worsening my wrinkles - toe to eyebrow
Allow me sleep
In a dream i may see my life slip
Wake up in heaven
But comfort is not, by what am driven
For it conforms with the vanity of human wish on earth
Till panting of the last breath, in a battle, or by a hearth
Whoever goes first,
The dream dubbed life by man or beast
Is the shortest in life-long sleep
Carry-on, command your ship
Storms and shines are part of the voyage
